Job Description:
As a Fixed Surveillance Installer at Ultimate Protection Services, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining fixed surveillance camera systems to enhance security measures for our clients. Whether working remotely or on-site, you will leverage your technical expertise and attention to detail to ensure reliable surveillance coverage and system functionality.
Responsibilities:
– Install and configure fixed surveillance camera systems in various environments, including corporate offices, retail stores, and industrial facilities.
– Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine optimal camera placement and coverage areas based on client requirements and security objectives.
– Mount and secure surveillance cameras, run cables, and connect equipment to power sources and network infrastructure in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
– Configure camera settings, including resolution, frame rate, and motion detection, to meet client specifications and ensure optimal performance.
– Test and troubleshoot surveillance camera systems to identify and resolve technical issues, including connectivity problems, image quality issues, and software configuration errors.
– Provide training and support to clients and end-users on the operation and maintenance of surveillance camera systems, including basic troubleshooting and system administration tasks.
– Document installation procedures, system configurations, and client specifications to ensure accurate record-keeping and knowledge transfer.
– Collaborate with project managers, sales teams, and other stakeholders to coordinate installation projects and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training in electronics, networking, or related fields is preferred.
– Proven experience in installing and configuring surveillance camera systems, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
– Strong technical skills and knowledge of surveillance camera hardware, software, and networking protocols.
– Proficiency in reading technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics to plan and execute installation projects.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
– Willingness to travel to client sites as needed and work flexible hours to accommodate project deadlines and client schedules.
– Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and work at heights when installing cameras.
